Thank you for using InboxSMS. This Refund Policy describes the refund terms for payments and activation credits on our platform. Because we partner with Platfone, our policies are aligned directly with their compliance rules.
1. Free Public Numbers
All public numbers listed on our website are completely free of charge. No registration or credit purchases are required to use them. Consequently, no refund policies apply to these free public services.
2. Payment Refunds (Top-Up Balance)
If you purchase prepaid credits to verify private or premium numbers, your payment may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- Card Payments: Refundable in full within 24 hours of the transaction, provided no credits have been consumed.
- Cryptocurrency Payments: Refundable within 24 hours of the transaction for amounts above $5 USD, provided no credits have been consumed.
- Fees Deduction: Any third-party payment processing fees or blockchain network transaction fees will be deducted from your refunded amount.
- Requesting a Refund: All payment refund requests must be sent to our contact page. Please include your registered email address and transaction ID.
3. Activation Refunds (Credit Reimbursement)
If you rent a temporary number and do not receive the requested SMS code, this is classified as a defective activation. The refund rules for activations are as follows:
- Credits Only: Defective activations are refunded only as platform credits back to your InboxSMS account balance. We do not issue cash or card refunds for individual activations.
- Report Time Limit: You must submit a dispute or report for the defective activation using the in-app "Report" or "Cancel" button within 60 minutes of the number's activation. After 60 minutes, the activation is closed and cannot be refunded.
- Review Process: We inspect disputed activations in cooperation with the Platfone provider network. Decisions on activation credit reports are made within 72 hours and are final.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds (both payment refunds and activation credit returns) will not be granted in the following scenarios:
- A third-party target service (e.g., Telegram, WhatsApp) refuses to send the code or blocks the temporary number due to their internal policies.
- The user selects a prohibited, geo-blocked, or restricted service for verification.
- The user has violated our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service.
- The user attempts to manipulate reports or abuse the activation process.
